WHAT IS A BRACE?

It’s an item that addresses specially women living with foot drop. It may help them to walk more carefree. OLUX really focuses on the look of the brace so women can get their joy of dressing up back again.

HOW LONG DO OLUX BRACES LAST?

You can count on reliable comfort and support for up to 1 1/2 years depending on how much you use it.

WHAT MAKES OLUX DIFFERENT?

Our design and shape. We really focused on designing a brace that shows your natural shape as good as possible and also to fit natural skin tones. We want to provide a fashion item to you that compliment your outfits! The materials we use are high quality and all of our products are handmade in Austria.

WILL I NEED MORE THAN JUST ONE BRACE?

Yes, you will need more than just one brace depending on your activities and the shoes you are wearing. Our brace is specially designed for low lace up shoes/ sneakers you can wear in your everyday life. So, if you wear boots or sandals you will need a different brace. Also, for intense sport activities we recommend a different brace.

WILL YOU PROVIDE MORE BRACE STYLES IN THE FUTURE?

Yes, most of our profit is reinvested in innovation because our dream is to solve the problem of foot drop in general. For the near future we want to provide more brace styles and designs. We are also working on beautiful shoes with an integrated brace but the prototype is not ready for the market yet. You can find more information about this project here.

WHO ARE OLUX BRACES FOR?

For all women living with foot drop who love to wear lace up shoes and want to look fab while doing what they love!

WHICH SHOES WORK BEST WITH THE BRACE?

Based on our experience many flat lace up shoes work just fine with the brace but you have to try. It’s better if the instep of the shoe is not too high. From a personal experience, shoes from the brand ECCO work really great with the brace (this is not a paid advertising).

 

SIZING, CARE AND FIT:

WHAT SIZE AM I?

Please measure your ankle precisely and follow the instructions on the measurement chart you can download in the link below or on the online shop. You can also print out our measurement tapes if you don’t have one at home. 

Generally it’s important to measure at the thinnest part of your ankle.

If you are in between a size. We recommend to order the smaller size since it’s important that the brace fits tight around your ankle.

HOW DO I PUT MY BRACE ON?

It’s easy! You can watch a short video here to see how we do it.

Attaching the strap of the brace to the shoe laces can be a very individual choice also depending on the style of lace up shoe you are wearing. From experience we recommend to put on the brace quite tight and also tie your shoe laces quite tight so you get great support. But that’s very individual and you also have to try what works best for you. It can take a few tails until you find your flow with our braces but it’s worth to give it a try!

MY OLUX BRACE HURTS?

Usually that doesn’t happen. But if your brace rubs your skin in some areas, you can use the tapes that are added in your order to prevent that. It shouldn’t take long to get your skin used to it.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY BRACE?

To extend the life of your brace. We do not recommend to wash this item frequently. From our experience it’s only necessary to dry clean it once it has dirty stains on it.

Please dry clean only!

DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRY — the results aren’t pretty.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

At this point OLUX is only operating in the USA.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

Please allow that it can take up to 20 business for your order to ship since we don’t overproduce, we are still a start-up, no big warehouses or stock and we directly ship out of Austria.

Once Shipped:

7-10 day estimated shipping time

Pre- orders:

Pre-order items will be charged on the date of order placement. Pre-Order wait time does not include processing and shipping time. Once your order is ready, your order will be processed and shipped via UPS Ground.

WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER I HAVE PLACED IT?

WHAT IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED, INCORRECT, OR IS MISSING AN ITEM?

Please contact office@oluxbrand.com and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

WHAT IF MY ORDER HAS BEEN MARKED AS DELIVERED, BUT I HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT?

If your order is marked as delivered, but you still don't have your new OLUX Brace, a few things may have occurred.

Your delivery person put your package somewhere discreet to make sure no one steals it—behind a plant, under a bush, we've seen it all (and appreciate their thoughtfulness).

Your delivery person marked your package as delivered a few days in advance, and the package may still be on the way.

A neighbor or roommate may have accepted the package for you.
If the above doesn't apply and you can't find the package, please double-check your shipping address on your order confirmation to ensure that the order was shipped to the correct address.

If the package is marked as delivered and still hasn’t shown up after seven business days, please let office@oluxbrand.com know.

 

RETURNS:

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

If you purchased directly from OLUX please contact OLUX at office@oluxbrand.com to process your refund and/or exchange. All exchanges/refunds must occur within 60 days of your original purchase date. All exchanges/refunds must occur within 60 days of your original purchase date.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY REFUND?

Please allow up to 7 business days for processing once your return is received and quality-checked at our warehouse. You can expect a refund within 10 business days of when your item is “delivered” and you will receive an email confirmation to the email address entered at time of purchase.

IS THERE A RESTOCKING FEE OR FREIGHT CHARGE WHEN RETURNING PRODUCT?

We do not charge a restocking fee. You will be responsible for the cost of mailing the brace back to OLUX if it is required.

You must generate your own shipping label and share the tracking number with us (office@olucbrand.com) within 60 days of your original delivery date. Please use the following address for your return:
